Group (A) Spelling Bee Competition 2025: A Resounding Success!

The Group (A) Spelling Bee Competition, held on March 1, 2025, was a thrilling event that brought together over 50 talented spellers from 10 schools in the group. The competition was divided into two categories: Ages 7-11 and Ages 12-15.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including:

• Engr. Gregory Nwanmagyi Pius, Project Coordinator, KCIC Spelling Bee, and Director of the Competition
• Dr. Simon Peter, Director of Africa Institute for Leadership and Good Government, who served as Chairman
• Dr. Engr. Kazaure Abubakar, former Assistant Dean, College of Engineering (COE), Kadpoly, who served as Arbiter
• Dr. Bilkisu Abubakar, Drama and Languages Department, Kaduna State University (KASU), who served as Chief Judge
• Miss Marvel Cliffort, expert in diction and pronunciation, who served as Pronouncer
• Mr. Adejoh, Founder of Girls for Tech, who served as Arbiter
• Mrs. Gladys Pius, Trustee of the Today Child Education and Skills Initiative
• Mrs. Leah Josiah, Trustee of the Today Child Education and Skills Initiative

After a fierce competition, the top 10 spellers in each category emerged victorious and qualified for the finals, scheduled for June 21, 2025. The qualified spellers are:
